LINQ, IWD23 & The Francis Crick Institute

Hello everyone and welcome to our second LinkedIn newsletter ??

At Automata ?we always like to share what we've been up to.

First off, we're?so?excited to announce the launch of our new lab automation platform: Automata LINQ.?

?#LINQ?can fully automate your workflows, end-to-end, by robotically and digitally connecting instruments and automating the transfer of labware. You can see LINQ in action and read all about utilising it to unlock your lab's people, space and potential below.

We also announced our recent partnership with? The Francis Crick Institute, where we are working together to eliminate nearly all manual touchpoints in three of their critical workflows. Continue reading for more about this and lots of other exciting things.

All the best,

Team Automata???

Introducing LINQ

At #SLAS2023 this year, we unveiled the LINQ platform for the very first time. Automata LINQ supports labs at every level of automation, by combining three components: the Automata LINQ bench, the Automata LINQ software and a world-class service, to create a lab automation solution specialised for each lab's workflow and lab.

#LINQ helps unlock your lab's full potential by easily reducing human touchpoints and increasing efficiency and accuracy - without needing to dedicate additional lab space to bulky equipment.

Last month we announced our partnership with the Advanced Sequencing Facility (ASF) at?The Francis Crick Institute!

The ASF is using?Automata’s solutions to automate three of its critical workflows, eliminating the need for nearly all manual touchpoints, unlocking days of walkaway time and improving sample quality.

Find out more about the partnership and how The Francis Crick Institute is at the very cutting edge of genomics in our press release below.

Fully-automated ELISA process

Pipette tips in a lab

We helped one virology contract research organisation (CRO) increase its genomic testing throughput, all without additional space or staff.

Part of the CRO’s work involved virology testing for clinical trials. The critical importance of this work meant that data integrity was a key factor for their ELISA process. It was vital that the process was robust, avoided contamination, and was orchestrated by software with built-in redundancy.

The Sequencing Buyer’s Guide

A clipping from The Sequencing Buyer's Guide

Just in case you missed it, we're in the 5th edition of The Sequencing Buyer’s Guide! We are so thrilled to be sponsoring a guide - curated by Front Line Genomics - which explores what the sequencing landscape looks like currently, and how it will look in the future.

This issue includes:

?? Sample preparation workflows

?? New platform releases

?? Data analysis tools

?? How LINQ reduced a genomics lab’s manual touchpoints from 1,388 to just 7
