Dr. Jeffrey Funk is full of insight and data-driven information. Here is his latest one documenting the trouble coders are having with AI coding assistants. Our word on the ground is these coding tools give people a running start but as GitHub can tell you many people have charged ahead, believing that generated code is all you need. First, the code isn't so much generated as copy and pasted. Second, the problems this creates are significant.

I remember the first time I received a file from a colleague using the original FTP server. This was before the browser was invented...it was magic. Today we probably think the world always worked this way!
