How to best get your post on an idea or topic out into the world?
Follows these rules below and you'll be on your way.
- Create a Post: Write a post on your LinkedIn profile announcing the "LinkedIn Lunch" event. Include all the relevant details, such as date, time, location (if applicable), and a brief description of the event. Make sure to use a clear and professional tone.
- Tag Your Friends: In your post, you can tag your friends and colleagues who you'd like to invite. To tag someone, simply start typing their name with the "@" symbol in your post. LinkedIn will suggest connections as you type. Click on the person you want to tag.
- Use Hashtags: You can also use relevant hashtags in your post to make it more discoverable. For example, you could use hashtags like #LinkedInLunch #NetworkingEvent #ProfessionalGathering.
- Share the Post: Once your post is ready, click the "Share" button to publish it on your LinkedIn feed. This will make the post visible to your connections.
- Encourage Engagement: Encourage your tagged friends to engage with the post by liking, commenting, or sharing it. This will help increase its visibility to their connections as well.
- Follow Up: As the event date approaches, you can use LinkedIn's messaging feature to send personal messages to your connections, reminding them about the event and providing any additional information they may need.
Remember to keep the event professional and in line with LinkedIn's purpose as a platform for professional networking. :)
