LinkedIn's Algorithm Is Changing: Here's How to Make Your Posts Get Seen

LinkedIn is changing its algorithm to prioritize knowledge and advice. This means that posts that share expert insights and provide actionable advice are more likely to be seen by other users.

This is a great change for professionals who want to use LinkedIn to build their brand and connect with potential clients and collaborators. But it also means that you need to step up your game if you want your posts to stand out.

Here are a few tips for writing LinkedIn posts that get more attention:

  • Write about what you know best. LinkedIn's algorithm can tell when you are writing about something that you are an expert in. So focus on topics that you are passionate about and have deep knowledge of.
  • Share your unique perspective. Don't just regurgitate information that is already out there. Offer your own insights and opinions. What do you think about the latest industry trends? What are some challenges that you have faced in your career and how have you overcome them?
  • Provide actionable advice. Tell people what they can do to apply the information in your post to their own lives and careers. For example, if you are writing about a new marketing strategy, share some specific tips that your readers can implement.
  • Engage with your audience. Respond to comments and questions. This shows LinkedIn that your post is generating valuable interaction. And it also gives you a chance to build relationships with other users.

Here are some examples of interesting LinkedIn posts that you could write:

  • Behind-the-scenes stories: Share a story about a challenge that you faced at work and how you overcame it. This is a great way to show your audience that you are relatable and that you have what it takes to succeed.
  • Thought leadership pieces: Share your thoughts on the latest industry trends or current events. This is a great way to position yourself as an expert in your field.
  • How-to guides: Share your knowledge and expertise by writing how-to guides on specific topics. This is a great way to provide value to your audience and to establish yourself as a thought leader.
  • Case studies: Share case studies of your own work or the work of others. This is a great way to show off your skills and expertise.
  • Q&A sessions: Host a Q&A session where you answer questions from your audience. This is a great way to engage with your audience and to learn more about their needs.

By following these tips, you can write LinkedIn posts that are more likely to be seen and engaged with by other users. And this can help you to build your brand, connect with potential clients and collaborators, and advance your career.

Great read! Thanks for sharing. Could you please have a look at my profile & help me understand where I'm going wrong. - Have been consistent abt posting daily & weekly - timing of posts as well. - I try to bring interesting content - Hashtags usage I have lessened it off late - I engage less on others' posts likes & comments. May be I should increase my engagement. Pls suggest anything more to be done from my end or I'm doing wrong anywhere. Very intrigued on how this algo works, I can correct my mistakes, if any. . I understand mostly my posts aren't even getting to my 1st degree connections feed. Please help!

I just hope it changes for good because I am sick and tired of seeing LinkedIn as professional insta now.
