LinkedIn=Customer Service-NOT!
Doesn't it annoy you when a company, be it online or "brick & mortar" be so afraid of its own customers that you cannot find a phone number to contact them? It does me. I would like to call LinkedIn. I defy you to find a toll-free number to reach a human being you can speak with. I've written their CEO twice with no response. I found their corporate address after much digging. Why must I speak with the "afraid of human contact" folks at LinkedIn? Because despite my e-mailing them, or online chatting with them or writing their CEO cannot get across to these "dunderheads" that one of my best friends, who's birthday would have been today, DIED 3 YEARS AGO! Each year, I tell them to delete his profile and provide them the phone number of the gentleman's wife. She has never heard from them. It's bad enough to have lost a dear friend. Must LinkedIn remind me of it every year by asking me to send him birthday greetings? Do LinkedIn birthday greetings extend to Heaven? If so, never mind.

7 年Wow, it's enough to make one question the value and ethics of the current owners. First rule of business, any business, is listen and seek comments from your customers. Canned response to cover all sins, it's a shame.

Customer (03/07/2017 20:32 CST) If you are about customer service, would it be too much to ask to have an 800 number listed prominently ON THE FIRST PAGE OF YOUR WEBSITE??? I received a birthday notice of a friend who DIED 2 years ago!!
