Got a minute? Let’s talk about something spicy – your data and how it’s being used. So, LinkedIn’s got this new setting (yep, it’s on by default) that lets them use your personal data to train AI models. ?? Cool for them, but what about us?

I’m all about AI when it does what it does best – like making sense of ginormous data pools or slicing those lengthy videos into bite-sized treats. ?? But, using my hard-crafted content to feed the AI beast without asking? Uh-uh, not cool.

That’s why I hit the ‘off’ switch on that setting.

Bye-Bye, My Company Tab

Attention, company page wranglers! ?? LinkedIn’s rolling out changes that might just tweak how you've been connecting with your fab audience. They plan to retire the ‘My Company’ tab from Pages and the ‘Employee Advocacy’ tab from the Admin Dashboard starting October 2024. They say it’s all in the spirit of helping us engage better and build our brands more effectively.

What’s the real scoop? It means finding new ways to keep that audience love coming strong without our usual tabs. Time to get creative and maybe even a little adventurous with our strategies. ?? Stay tuned, and I'll keep you posted with some slick new tactics!

• AI can 3D print lifelike human organs - Researchers at Washington State University recently?developed ?an AI technique called Bayesian Optimization that dramatically improves the speed and efficiency of 3D printing lifelike human organs.
• OpenAI Warns Users Against Probing Its ‘Strawberry’ AI Models? - OpenAI is taking a firm stance against users attempting to uncover the inner workings of its latest “Strawberry” AI models, which include o1-preview and o1-mini. Since the models were introduced last week, OpenAI has sent warning emails and threats of bans to users who try to bypass safeguards to see how the models solve problems.
• YouTube has also introduced AI features in?Inspiration Tab in YouTube Studio . There will be an AI-powered “brainstorming buddy” that will help creators curate suggestions that can be converted into fully-fledged projects with video ideas, titles, thumbnails and outlines.
• New AI System FraudGCN Detects Financial Fraud Across Corporate Networks ?- Researchers have developed an advanced artificial intelligence (AI) system designed to detect accounting fraud within companies and across entire industries. The machine learning tool, called FraudGCN, uses graph theory to analyze financial data and corporate relationships, aiming to identify and predict fraudulent activities.
