Is LinkedIn working for you? (If not, it’s time to change that)

Happy Year LinkedIn Friends,

If you’re like me you already have a ‘To Do’ list as long as your arm, but one way I learned long ago to make decisions is to ask if this thing I’m spending time on gets me to my goal.

For example, if I want to kick off the year with more sales in January, then I focus only on tasks that get me to a sale.

Sure, my website needs updating and I am committed to writing more blog posts, but for the next 20 days, neither of those things get me closer to closing a deal.

Instead on my list is… following back up with prospects I spoke to in December.

Reaching out to new ‘Followers’ and those who ‘Viewed my profile’ on LinkedIn and get a conversation going.

Get back in the routine of posting to LinkedIn and my other social sites 2x a week. (Yup, got 2 posts ready this week)

So where should your focus be for January?
