This month we want to highlight Indra Nooyi - a trailblazer who has paved the way for millions of women in the business and corporate world. As the former CEO of PepsiCo, she was the first immigrant and woman of color to run a Fortune 500 company. During her 12 year stint, she expanded their inventory to include healthier foods, redesigned their packaging to reduce waste, switched to renewable energy, and nearly doubled revenue. She is consistently recognized as one of the most influential women in the world by publications such as Forbes, Wall Street Journal, and Fortune Magazine. In 2021, she was officially inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame. Since stepping down from PepsiCo, Nooyi has continued to disrupt the corporate industry by advocating for paid parental leave and work flexibility.
