Maximize Your Headline
Are you using the typical: “Speaker | Coach | Author | Realtor | ETC.”
How’s that working for you?
Are you using multiple emojis in your headline? How’s that working for you?
You have 120 characters available when you use your computer. Use them. (When you edit via your smart phone, you have 220 characters available.)
I had a chat with a person from Google and he was telling me that those emojis confuse the search engines because they do not know how to read them, so at first, you get more activity, but then because they don’t know how to read these, your LinkedIn profile gets shoved to the bottom of the list, so to speak. In other words, your LinkedIn profile is ranked low.

Personalized your LinkedIn URL
One of the Biggest Secrets on LinkedIn
If you are on a free platform, you only see 3 of the many profile views in the past 90 days. You don't want to miss any of these key views, so you need to check this several times a day.
If you are on a paid platform, you will see ALL your profile viewers back to the first one who viewed you.
When someone views your profile, be sure to respond to the ones who fit your ideal contact. Thank them by name for stopping by. Find something you have in common. Ask them an open-ended question and sign off with something cheerful and your own name.
When you ask someone an open-ended question on LinkedIn, over 90% of them will respond back to you. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, people on LinkedIn are becoming much more responsive than before. You will need to check your LinkedIn profile for messages twice a day.
Ask your LinkedIn questions here. I’ll blog the answers back to you on my Articles page.
Remember that everyone on LinkedIn is looking to do business of some kind. Be present and mindful of them. Build those relationships you both need and want for business or job seeking.
