LinkedIn Stories Is Now Available In Australia

LinkedIn is now following the steps of Snapchat, Instagram + TikTok, and has launched Stories in Australia this week.

So far, it's only available in the Netherlands, Brazil, and the UAE.

Stories are transitional snapshots (photos or videos), moments you sharing your thoughts or day. They last for 24 hours before they disappear.

I'm expecting a more authentic and relaxed approach - more are using it to show what's behind their mask...

Alas, people are using Stories to hold rigid to their professional mask, which unfortunately makes for some boring content...

I think it's a missed opportunity.

There's a lot of amazing brains and knowledge inside of us, but there is more than one way of sharing information than posting old posts or be a talking potato head.

My First LinkedIn Stories

Side Note: As I document the experience and share thoughts out loud... the embedded Linkedin videos prefer landscape over vertical or squares videos.

Video is a powerful medium to convey our truth.

And yes, our truth can be about how we do work. As a video creator who guides professionals on content creation, the faster path to success is when we add our personality to the mix.

There are already 29.7 million project manager is the LinkedIn world. For the top creme, using video is a way to stand out from the crowd.

And there are 3 million business coaches, how can they use video to show their trust?

Use Stories To Show Unveil Your Mask & Accelerate Your Trust

With all the meh content out there, this is an easy opportunity to stand out with a bit of creativity.

Even though about 4 countries have access to LinkedIn Stories, be mentally prepared when it comes your way.

People watching your Stories means it'll increase the touchpoints with your prospects.

More touchpoint equates to accelerating your reputation and trust factor.

Level Up Your Video Game

People who are passionate about what they do, their energy gives out a contagious vibe. Video records your energy. So be sure to perk up and send out good vibes, as watchers we want to watch someone who gives a duck.

Stories or videos, it's an attention economy game.

There's a high chance that everyone will share there moments of their daily life. Work counts for most of our days.

Still, what can you do to lift the game and show that you're an authority?

I love how #linkedinstories showcase our true self when not in front of a camera reading a script.
