So the other day I was told about the LinkedIn Social Selling Score (LI SSI) and I thought, I don't know about this and what is it? What kind of wizardary are LI running that I don't know about. I was also told by a friend that a score of over 60 is considered good but I've subsequently read that a good score is over 80. Oh man what the hell is my score and do I meet the necessary criteria for being in the top percentage?
I found my score, 62! Hmm, not bad, it meets my friend's acceptance level but not what the Internet says. So after a little reading I now understand what it is but I'm still not sure of the relevance of my score. Does my ability to socially sell myself improve my chances of landing that next lucrative role?
Well the science says that improving your LI SSI also correlates to your ability to sell, I guess this is related to a sales job but it must also be related in your ability to be able to sell yourself. I read an interesting article here. This index has been around for some time. How comes I'm only just discovering it now?
I wonder how many of you are reading this and thinking 'what's my score?'. I got my score by clicking on this link.
What are your thoughts on this LI SSI?
