The single greatest "people skill" is a highly developed & authentic interest in the *other* person.

LINKEDIN IS NOT TINDER.

Linkedin is NOT HINGE, or BUMBLE, or PLENTY OF FISH or TINDER or SWEET PEA.

LinkedIn is not a dating site!

Did you know?

Everyone knows. How many times do you see a post about someone being on the receiving end of an Inmail ";)"

You know what else LinkedIn is NOT?

  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Youtube
  • A place for politics and religion
  • A place for hate, slander and trolling
  • A tool for spamming people with sales offers

If you ever treat LinkedIn as any of the above, you WILL NOT benefit from what LinkedIn actually is.

Everyone seems to forget this, but remember.

"Your network is your networth".

Treat LinkedIn with the respect it deserves and if you've built a strong, trusted and knowledgeable network, you've extended your sales team and built a stronger mentor and peer group than you ever could, without it.

Totally agree! Yes, LinkedIn is a social network, but there is a fine line that distinguishes appropriate behavior on this platform vs. the others you have mentioned.
