Are LinkedIn Presentations relevant to SME's

LINKEDIN PROFILER, EDUCATOR|SPEAKER. Are you frustrated & confused with LinkedIn? Is it not really working for you with a feed that annoys? With 16 years of helping people achieve their LinkedIn goals, I can help you to.
This is a question that I was asked recently and my answer was yes, so this explains why I say that.
I have done a lot of talks at networking groups over the years, starting off with the odd 5 minutes here and there and growing that to 45-minute sessions. This is alongside the talk I do an Expo’s and conferences, and in all circumstances, I prefer to deliver online but often logistics dictates that it must be Online.
What is consistent across them is that the fundamentals are especially important and that 98% of people that I meet do not understand then correctly. They can be a start-up, SME, corporate or global audience it really does not matter.
Some may think that like networking that LinkedIn could be more important to the micro business end but actually I feel that SME and corporate could really do with understanding this great business tool.
One reason I believe that they do not use it id because they not only do not understand it but often think it is still as a recruiter tool. I will admit that it certainly is used extensively in that sector, but it has moved on so much in the last 10 years, that most users use it for other things.

So, what might they be missing out on? Well apart from their next career move they can use it to grow a strong network of people. They can use it to search (it is a database of approx. one billion people) to find people, companies, and many other things as well.
They can build business relationships with individuals, groups, and companies as well. It can be used as a form of CRM as you capture a lot of data as well as conversations.
It can help you and your company grow, generate leads and so much more, the things that people in SME’s could well be missing out on by being on the platform but not using or engaging with it.
A presentation at an office of networking group could demonstrate all the potential that lies within LinkedIn.
