Anti-Bullying Week – 14th November

In mid-November, we supported Anti-Bullying Week, an annual event that shines a spotlight on preventing and addressing bullying in schools. This year’s theme,?Choose Respect, encouraged students, teachers, and parents to foster a culture of kindness and mutual understanding.

To help schools take action, we provided a range of resources, including a free guide from the Anti-Bullying Alliance (available as a podcast), webinars on restorative strategies led by mental health advisor Becky Dawson, and cyberbullying training with Dr Claire Sutherland. We also shared a detailed guide?to support schools to create safer environments for all students.

Connecting with Educators Across the UK?

In November 2024, we proudly showcased our professional development platform at major education events across the UK. At MATPN Midlands in Nottingham, Joe Stoney, Olivia Finch, and Nikki Payne demonstrated how our platform empowers schools to meet their development goals.

At the Schools & Academies Show at the NEC Birmingham, educators visited our stands to explore our CPD and compliance solutions. On 14th November, we joined the Nursery World Exchange 2024 in Southampton, sharing insights and connecting with early years professionals.

These events were a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas, build relationships, and highlight how our platform supports educators to achieve excellence.

We’re thrilled to announce we will be attending BETT 2025 at stand SK22. We can’t wait to connect with you there!

In November, The National College office was buzzing with activity! On the 26th, our team got into the festive spirit with a fun Christmas tree decorating event, bringing some holiday cheer to the office.

We also prioritised wellbeing by hosting a valuable mental health first aid training session, led by Samantha Kendall, Founder and Trainer at Kendall Training.
