If you’re looking to pivot industries, it helps to know where the jobs are.
After all, Australia’s labour market has changed drastically year on year. As the nation recorded an unprecedented drop in employment, mainstay sectors like tourism, international education and hospitality faced significant challenges. Meanwhile, other industries like healthcare, mining and construction have recorded employment growth.
To help connect people with available opportunities, LinkedIn analysed the data to find which jobs are in demand now — uncovering the fastest-growing job areas over the past.
You can read all 15 Jobs on the Rise for Australia here. In the meantime, I’m sharing four roles that rely on transferrable skills. While you may not envisage yourself as a construction worker or real estate agent, these roles don’t necessarily require a four-year degree.
