LinkedIn Hack
LinkedIn is known as a professional-based social media, a place where professionals interact with each other. LinkedIn is often used to find work, both for beginners in looking for work or for professionals who want to find better job opportunities.?
Did you know that to get your dream job, you don't always have to be the one who is looking for it, but you could be the target that recruiters are looking for. Growing companies always want the best talent as their employees and the recruitment consultants help them to make this happen. Therefore LinkedIn is a hunting ground for recruiters to find the best candidates.?
LinkedIn allows you to share your experience, skills, and qualifications with future employers. Optimizing your LinkedIn profile will help build your personal branding and of course make it easier for recruiters to find you as the right person for the best position. HuntHire's Lead Consultant, Ario Limin , shares some hacks to make your LinkedIn profile stand-out.?
Hack 1, make use of the "About" column on your LinkedIn Profile. Currently LinkedIn has an “About” column under the LinkedIn profile photo. You can make the best use of this column to introduce yourself. It will greatly benefit you by highlighting your recent projects, especially those that are relevant to the role or field of work you will pursue next, and also include your analytical skills on the things you handle, this will help define your capabilities.

Hack 2, stop using “vague terms'' in your job description. Writing "I am a dedicated person" on your profile may seem convincing. But this term does not describe well what kind of dedication you have done. Including some of these points, such as: overall scope of your job, your past achievements, quantitative measures of those achievements and your technical skills will help the recruiter get to know you better.?
Hack 3, Choose a professional profile picture. A professional profile photo doesn't have to be taken by a professional photographer with a high-quality camera. You just need to pose with a friendly expression, good gesture using appropriate clothes (depending on your field of work). Use a clear background and make sure you are the only one in the photo, so that you are the center of attention. This may be a professional thing, but don't even think about using a passport photo that will make you look clumsy.?
Creating a good LinkedIn profile will help you land your next job or get noticed by recruiters and establish yourself as an expert in your field. Good Luck!
