Tired of posting randomly on LinkedIn and hoping for the best? It's time to take control of your content strategy and achieve real results. Today, I reveal the secrets to building a powerful LinkedIn Content Planner and Calendar for 2025.

First, Why do You Need a Planner?

To grow on LinkedIn you should never run out of ideas. Clarity is important from the clarity of the target audience to their pain points. To conclude I give you 4 reasons:

  1. Consistency is Key: A planner helps you maintain a consistent posting schedule, crucial for keeping your audience engaged and growing your reach.
  2. Thought Leadership: Delivering valuable, planned content establishes you as a go-to expert in your field.
  3. Content Clarity: A planner helps you organize your ideas, map out themes, and stay ahead of the content curve, ensuring you never run out of things to share.
  4. Goal Alignment: Every post should contribute to your overall LinkedIn goals, whether it's lead generation, brand building, or community engagement. A planner helps you stay focused.

The 2025 LinkedIn Content Playbook:

  • Video is King: LinkedIn's algorithm is prioritizing video content, so make it a central part of your strategy. Carousels and images also continue to perform well.
  • Content Diversification: Mix it up! Educational posts are essential but don't shy away from entertainment, infotainment, and even controversial topics (with a focus on strong, well-founded opinions). Storytelling and personal experiences create authentic connections.
  • Funnel-Focused Approach: Structure your content to guide your audience through the sales funnel:

TOFU (Top of Funnel): Broad, relatable content that addresses common pain points and attracts a wide audience.

MOFU (Middle of Funnel): More specific content like case studies, demos, and comparisons that target your ideal audience's needs.

BOFU (Bottom of Funnel): Highly targeted content designed to drive conversions, such as persuasive articles, UGC content showcasing results, and clear calls to action.

My Winning Formula:

  • Post Frequency: Aim for at least 3 posts per week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays are the best to post.). This has worked with me as well as with my clients.
  • Content Variety: Mix educational, entertaining, and personal content to keep your audience engaged. For sure you can ignore entertaining content if that's not your personality type :)
  • Trending Topics: Stay informed about trending topics and industry news to ensure your content is relevant and timely.
