LinkedIn blogging. Part 2
Dmitrii Ivanov
Drone Entrepreneur and Enthusiast | CEO @ Aardvark, Chairman @ CAA UAS Commitee, Head @Drone Tech Center
This is a continuation of a series of articles about blogging on LinkedIn (and beyond). Here is a brief summary of the previous series:
The next step in building relationships with your audience is the simplest, yet most difficult - not pretending to be someone else, but simply being yourself and showing your philosophy and values.
Of course, you follow not only the experts you know and respect, and whom you constantly read, but also ordinary people. Take any of your favorite bloggers and try to perceive them abstractly. Some of them may seem strange or incomprehensible to you. Each blogger has their own audience, some of whom may be similar to you, and some may not. And that's the whole point - there's no need to try to be someone else, just enjoy watching those bloggers who interest you.
Each of us has our own philosophy and beliefs. I believe in discipline, development, a system of consistent steps, and that anyone can become anything, that everything can be learned. Others believe in something else, and that's the essence.
If I compared myself to others, I would start meditating, demonstrate it in my accounts, or film myself having fun there. But in reality, I'm very calm, not so cheerful. I'm open in communication, although I don't always look so cheerful.

In general, there's no need to try to be someone else. Don't change yourself, even if you think your qualities aren't suitable for a blog. There are no qualities that would be ideal for a blog. For every person, there will be their own fan, for every bore and recluse, there will be two million more of the same bores and recluses who like everything. For every Dmitrii Ivanov , there will be people who like what he does, his lifestyle, and his approach to life.
Don't change your personality and don't be ashamed of it. Maybe you're serious, cheerful, calm, or love memes and jokes - it's all perfectly normal. It's important to be honest with yourself, understand your philosophy, and determine what's most important to you in life. What message do you want to convey to the whole world?
