LinkedIn Audio: You're Under Arrest

I don't use audio sites. Aren't they like party lines? The ones who use them act like this site is more important than it is. I never get the feeling I am in a money demographic when I use LinkedIn.

There are many professionals who are friendly and helpful. I never get that feeling of a money demo that I have on flights. It isn't a bunch of coaches in First Class.

Chances are there are coaches on LinkedIn Audio. Very well. I never hear about casual listeners to LinkedIn Audio. Just like Clubhouse- which might still exist like LinkedIn Groups- it is great for hosts and their guests to promote, not interesting for the average listener.

One of my beloved connections was suspended for promoting her audio event. She is back and LinkedIn Help gave her a satisfactory response. That does not change the "Guilty until proven innocent" nature of suspensions.

They sensed automated systems were being used. There are connections who view a lot of profiles and their accounts are suspended because it was assumed they used automation.

It's like being a tutor, doing your homework, helping someone who asked and being suspended for cheating. I probably was not going to use LinkedIn Audio anyway. If they penalize the ones who want to make it interesting- all she did was promote her session.

Is it a crime? Should someone be treated this poorly for using one of the so called New Features? LinkedIn is like high school. Where else do you get suspended over nonsense? I preferred this site before it became a popularity contest.

Lord knows I'll never win one of those. I am satisfied writing as I always have. Not many see these articles. Tag people, use hashtags and they are buried the same way they would be if I did not bother.

What is the end game? Do I want to be noticed? People who crave attention end up unfulfilled. A baby crying in a crib gets attention. All anyone wants to do is quiet them down. I don't care about attention and if no one reads this? So it goes. I believe members who want to use the site and promote their appearance should be appreciated, not banished and accused of using tools they did not.

Thank you for this one Thomas Jackson. My suspension was linked to my audio room with Jeff Young last week. I have a call set up with LinkedIn to get answers.
