Personally I've seen around a 30% drop in my own reach.
But here's the thing - I don't care.
Fretting about algorithms is wasting precious time and energy. The reality is that algorithms evolve constantly to keep users engaged.
While we cannot control changes, we can control our strategy.
It's your choice to quit or simply keep showing up. An algorithm change shouldn't change your mind about showing up and providing value to your audience. Not if you're building for longterm success.
So instead of losing sleep over algorithm updates, shift your focus to building meaningful connections with your LI community. I'm talking good old fashioned human-to-human relating.
Think of it this way... Who do you want to do business with? People you know, like, and trust. People who keep going even when going gets tough.
This level of connection and authority doesn't happen overnight. It takes months of showing up, sharing helpful insights and personality before relationships and business follow.
Here are 3 tips for standing out on LI (even when the algo changes):
See, it's not about chasing algorithms and vanity metrics. It's about delivering value to real people over the long-term through relationship building. Slow and steady wins the race!
So keep your vibe attractive and your determination fierce.
Show up every week, post great content, and watch your "Who's that?" turn into "THAT'S who!" by the end of 2024.
