LinkedIn Adds New Features for Company Pages
LinkedIn has outlined its?latest batch of updates for #CompanyPages, most of which had already been previewed in some capacity but are now being rolled out on a broader basis including new post templates available to all company pages. As an addition to this,?#LinkedIn is also making its new?link stickers?available for Company Pages too, which could help to drive a more direct response to your updates. (via Social Media Today)
TikTok is becoming a better search engine
At Weekend Media Festival I mentioned that TikTok is Gen Z's preferred #searchengine. And now TikTok just rolled out a new feature that will help it develop in that way. As you can see in this notification, posted by social media expert? Matt Navarra , #TikTok has expanded the post description field from 300 characters to 2,200 – a 730% increase in the space available to outline your clip. That presents a significant opportunity for TikTok, using its highly attuned, personalized, algorithmic approach to refine and showcase relevant search matches, which will increasingly relate to each users’ interests.
Facebook Tests ‘Subscribers Only’ Posts
Facebook is testing out a?new post option?that would enable you to restrict access to your post to subscribers only for an initial period after publishing – be that 24 hours, 48 hours, or a week as you can see below. Facebook’s also adding in more tools for creators, including its most recent?#Facebook Page updates, which include endorsement notifications to support fellow creators, templates to help recognize top fans, and more. Among these, Meta also previewed a new option that will enable #creators to share exclusive posts with Top Fans’ and subscribers, which is similar to this new subscriber-exclusive option.

Campaign of the week:?The New Purple M&M Wants Everyone to Feel Like They Belong
M&M's just introduced Purple, its first new character in a decade, who introduces herself today in the "I'm Just Gonna Be Me" video. Purple encourages people to be who they are or as campaign creators said: "The M&M's cast holds an iconic place in culture, and in order to continue reflecting the world around us, it felt right to introduce a character whose personality is grounded in authenticity and realness and who isn't afraid to show her true colors." Tools for marketers: Write Sonic
The future of #AI is here and it's expanding to all marketing departments. First, there were email automation tools that helped us save hours of segmentation, writing, and sending emails. But now here's an #AIwriter which can help you write better posts for your socials, better email, better newsletters, anything you want. I tested Writesonic for one of my Linkedin posts and I was actually pretty surprised by how good post it wrote. All you need is to put in a short description of your product/service/theme you'd like to talk about, target keywords, and preferred language. Of course, I will still write Linkedin posts by myself, but it's good to know that there is an alternative in case you'd need it.
