THE LINKED IN ALGORITHMS FAVOR YOUR #OPENTOWORK POST

THE LINKED IN ALGORITHMS FAVOR YOUR #OPENTOWORK POST

As just good Linked In network behavior, when I scroll through my feed, if an #opentowork post shows up, I repost it, PERIOD. I typically even ask to connect with the original poster (if they are not already a 1st connection). WHY?

1??The Linked In algorithms favor the open to work hashtag AS well as the automated post Linked In creates for you when you turn on your open to work badge to everyone (not just recruiters).

2??Reposts are favored more on the platform than likes or comments.

3??The person looking for a new opportunity won't always be in their current position. And once they've landed, maybe they will remember your good deed and somehow elevate you.

AND ?? ?? ??

A - Always

B - Be

C - Changing

As an opportunity seeker, you can recreate that OTW post by just changing up the roles of interest and Linked In will prepare that favored post and graphic for you to repost. You should be doing this every couple of weeks or at least once per month.

AND

Consider adding MORE details to the post than just what Linked In auto prepares for you. Share the career accomplishments you are proud of, case studies of your work, more about yourself, what you are passionate about and how you contribute to your community.

Here are some examples of my posts to get your creative juices flowing:
