After years of close business collaboration, both parties decided to take this step forward. Lantern Technologies was founded in 2015 by two electronics engineers who graduated from the Technological Institute of Costa Rica; after 15 years of working in multinational corporations decided to launch a startup focused on the development of their own IoT technology and artificial intelligence. The company initiated to become an early pioneer in developing inventions in the Internet of Things field, taking advantage of the tremendous technical talent in Costa Rica. After eight years, the company has developed clients in Latin America, Europe, and the United States. Its portfolio of products includes monitoring and control systems to increase efficiency in the manufacturing industry and agriculture, assets and people tracking within smart buildings, fleet management, and maintenance solutions for transportation.
For its part, LinkAmerica is a technology services company with more than 30 years in the US market. Its headquarters are in Dallas, Texas, with operations and businesses in 13 countries.
