LINEAR vs RESIDUAL INCOME

Here’s a little "outside the box" education for you...

Linear Income: This is what is still taught and ingrained in our minds from an early age as the main way to create our income. It's simply trading our time (which we only have so much of)...for an agreed on amount of money (which we're taught is in limited supply). This reality, comes with the mindset that we can only earn so much, because the hourly wage offered only goes so high.

My personal example, when I was on my massage therapy journey. I could only earn up to a certain amount for a one or one 1/2 hour massage given. Although I thoroughly enjoyed the work and have a deep passion for helping people. I could only do a certain number of massages on a given day. This holds true for most people in the traditional work force. And thank goodness for our workforce, it's the backbone of our society and economies.

The compelling truth is, there is another way to generate income that is not limited to the number of hours we can personally work. And the majority of individuals creating an income this way, do it in their spare time.

Residual Income: What if we weren't just paid once for a given hour of work? What if there was a way where we continued to get paid for the work we did last week, last month or even last year? Yes, you heard right...getting paid over and over and over again. That's why it's called a residual or recurring income. Because the residual benefits of our work, continue to compensate us.

I was introduced to this concept when I was a teenager, by my late Mother. Who had found a way to create and benefit from a recurring income from her ever growing Team of heart-centered ladies in a wonderful cosmetic company. What I loved about what Mom was doing, was she had created a residual income by empowering, uplifting & serving others. And yes, I fell in love with that concept way back then. It simply took me a few years solely earning a linear income to finally search out, pay my dues and eventually create a recurring/residual income as well. It's made all the difference, especially in our ability to give back and experience so many magical moments with our loved ones!

Simply continue to only TRADE TIME FOR MONEY...or do the work right ONCE, and get paid AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN for a LONG TIME! What would you rather have?
