Line-up of China’s Major Bulk Cargo Ports in Week 16 of 2022

Compared with the congestion situation in bulk cargo ports last week, the waiting time at Bayuquan port still remains long, up to 25 days. The congestion time of Zhoushan port and Ningbo port remains the same as that of last week, and the expected waiting time of other Chinese bulk cargo ports is not more than 5 days. Zhoushan Port

The main hydraulic work of container terminals No.6-No.10 in Meishan port area of Zhoushan port has been completed, which is the container terminal with the highest design level under construction so far and can berth the largest container carrier in the world.?

After completion, the capacity of Meishan port increased by 4.3 million TEU and the capability of throughput will reach over 10 million TEU. As a result, Zhoushan port will boast two single container terminals of over 10 million TEU: Chuanshan port area and Meishan port area. Zhoushan port will be the only single super container port with double throughput capacity of over 10 million TEU in China and even around the world.
