Please tell us more about your previous experience in the IT sector as an HR manager.

For the past six years, I served as the HR Administrative Lead at Euro Live Technologies, part of the Playtech Group, which is recognized as the largest online gambling streaming solutions company globally. The Riga office is home to 2,000 employees, and I was responsible for a range of duties, including labour law compliance, recordkeeping, administrative processes, audits, and ensuring the protection of employee data.

What I particularly enjoy about working in an IT-focused company is the innovative spirit of the highly professional employees and the dynamic environment. Innovation and a forward-thinking atmosphere are top priorities and it’s something I always seek out in my career.

What motivates you at work?

I’m genuinely happy with my career choice and love my role. Each day’s tasks are a pleasure and interesting challenge for me, so I don’t need extra motivation. However, my son is a wonderful source of encouragement, and the thought that my success at work can create more opportunities for both of us adds a heartfelt layer of motivation.

• Italy tops my list of travel destinations, but Riga, my birthplace, will always be where my heart lies.
• I’m a dedicated news fan ??, tuning Latvijas Radio 1 first thing in the morning and Panorāma in the evening, to stay updated.
• I enjoy filling my home with my wonderful friends and celebrating life’s moments together. I love seeing my house as full as possible, with every corner buzzing with energy and connection. For me, there’s something special about sharing these long, lively evenings with the people who mean the most to me.

Hobbies:

I love to explore European crime series and films. I enjoy their realistic portrayal of life and characters, who are less romanticized and more genuine. Unlike Hollywood productions, they often skip dramatic love stories and other clichés, offering a more down-to-earth experience.

Favorite food:

My favourite food is anything from Italian cuisine—rich flavors, fresh ingredients, and comforting dishes!

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

If I could choose a superpower, it would be invisibility. Being able to observe any situation without being seen would let me uncover truths. With that kind of insight, I’d be able to make a real difference and help create a better world.
