Next week we have 2 of our most popular events on the HIA calendar occurring in Newcastle and the Hunter Valley. Places are still available at both events.  

Event 1: HIA-GWA Industry Outlook Breakfast – Tues 2 May 2017

It starts next Tuesday the 2nd May with the first HIA Hunter Industry Outlook Breakfast for the year. At this popular event our HIA Chief Economist – Dr Harley Dale will address the audience. 

A lot has changed for our sector and the broader economy since Harley last spoke at a Hunter event in March 2015. Housing is more of a mixed bag now, but conditions have certainly held up reasonably well and there are some opportunities on the horizon for 2017/18. Harley will also provide his take on the Hunter Regional Plan 2036 and I will provide an update on the status of the proposed Hunter Special Infrastructure Contribution Plan.

?Event 2: HIA-Le Mottee Group Golf Day – Cypress Lakes Resort Fri 5 May 2017  

Later in the week HIA invites you and your team to a fantastic day of golf in the beautiful Hunter Valley at Cypress Lakes Resort. 

Cypress Lakes is a picturesque 6,487 metre par 72 18-hole championship golf course and is ranked among the top resort courses in Australia. Whilst many tackle this course seriously throughout the week, our event is a 4-person Ambrose tournament providing a casual networking opportunity.

Are you looking for a great way to thank your staff and contractors or a chance to network with current or potential clients? Then join us for the HIA-Le Mottee Group Hunter Golf Day. This event provides the perfect social networking opportunity before we all start to focus on scheduling or completing projects for the end of year rush.

Be warned this event sold out last year and indications are we will do the same this year J. A small number of affordable hole partnerships are still available for those that may be interested too.
