Dare I call it?

Is it just me - or are we starting to see an uplift in buyer confidence and the seeds of our real estate market's recovery?

Certainly, where we are in Subiaco, West Perth and the Western Suburbs, houses are selling quickly again, with multiple offers being received AND for prices our sellers weren't sure we'd achieve.

Units are still taking that little bit longer generally, however.....they are selling too again.

Listing stock is low (my cupboard is bare....) with many potential sellers thinking that the best time to sell is in Spring.

My 30 plus years' experience paints a different picture - with winter being a GREAT time to sell as there are plenty of buyers and very little choice.

It's always preferable to be selling in isolation - rather than in competition.

So, if you are wanting to move - don't procrastinate. Get your house de-cluttered and looking good now and take advantage of the fact that there is every likelihood that your time on the market will be short and the results sweet!
