CAIA Chapter Relations Associate

Most of the local chapters of these non-profit associations are a) run by volunteers and b) have small budgets. Chafen offered to sponsor an event, and we developed a neat idea around a hot current topic in our industry.

The results:

1. Email distribution to thousands of members of CAIA Association , Southeastern Alternative Funds Association (SEAFA) , and CFA Society Atlanta .
2. Association with an educational organization known for thought leadership and education in alternative investments. ?
3. ~30,000 social media impressions. My posts about this event received 8,000 and various other people and organizations have also posted. This is BEFORE the event even happens.?
4. 35 people signed up to attend the live event. I just ordered three more sets of the board game "Ticket to Ride." A board game followed by an educational panel discussion on investment vehicles and then networking.

Reach out to the local chapter of your industry's association for your own city or a city that you cover and ask if they need help in terms of event sponsorship and content.?You can also reach out to the national organization and see if they will connect you. E.g., My information is listed on our local Chapter's page (https://caia.org/chapter/caia-atlanta) - in addition to the fantastic chapter executive team, including Loring Brown of 摩根士丹利 , Joseph Guidish, MSF, CAIA of Merit Financial Advisors , Ryan Manthey, CAIA of Leucadia Asset Management , Brad Sullivan, CAIA, CMT of Alzamend Neuro , and Charles Zhang, PhD, CAIA of Navy Federal Credit Union . Even with this page, we only get 2-3 inquiries per year.
