Lightweight Agile methodologies.

One of the popular approaches to date to the development of Internet projects are Agile-methodology for the development of Internet projects. The class of flexible methodologies for developing Internet projects includes such techniques as Scrum, Extreme Programming, Crystal Clear, DSDM, Kanban, etc.

Agile methodologies are a family of development processes, not the only approach in software development, and are defined as Agile Manifesto (“Manifesto of Flexible Development Methodologies”). Agile Manifesto was developed and adopted in 2001 by 17 specialists and contains 12 principles and 4 main ideas

The scrum methodology is focused on a strategy that focuses on providing the maximum business value to the stakeholders in the shortest possible time.

Another lightweight agile methodology is Crystal Clear, which was created in 2004 by Alistair Cockburn. This method is designed for small teams of 6–8 people to develop and implement non-critical business applications. Crystal Clear, like all other flexible methodologies, is more focused on people than on artifacts and processes. Crystal Clear uses seven practices/methods (3 of them are mandatory). The DSDM methodology combines integrated methods for project implementation, but the main difference is that the consumer (user) takes a long time to participate in all stages and processes of project implementation.

This method includes 3 stages:

·        The pre-project stage, during which the project implementation is approved, a team is appointed, and the project budget is determined;

·        Stage of the project life cycle, which is a process of project implementation and consists of 5 stages

·        Post-project stage, where the quality operation of the resulting system occurs.
