LIGHTING SYSTEMS.

LIGHTING SYSTEMS.

These are essential components of buildings and outdoor spaces, designed to provide illumination for various purposes, including visibility, safety, ambiance, and aesthetics.

Check out this common types:

1. Light Emitting Diode (LED) - LED light is highly energy-efficient. LEDs emit light when an electric current passes through a semiconductor material. They are long-lasting and come in various colors and designs.

2. Fluorescent Lighting - Fluorescent lights use gas and a phosphorescent coating inside a glass tube to produce light. They are more energy-efficient than incandescent bulbs and have a longer lifespan.

3. Incandescent Lighting - its the traditional type and uses a filament that is heated to produce light when an electric current passes through it.

4. Smart Lighting - they use technology to control and customize lighting levels, colors, and schedules. These systems often include features like remote control, dimming, color-changing capabilities, and integration with home automation systems.

5. Task Lighting -This type is designed to provide focused illumination for specific tasks, such as reading, cooking, or working. It helps reduce eye strain and improve visibility for activities that require concentrated light.

6. Accent Lighting - this is used to highlight specific objects, artworks, or architectural features. It adds depth and visual interest to spaces.

7. High-Intensity Discharge (HID) Lighting - it includes metal halide, mercury vapor, and high-pressure sodium lamps. These are often used for outdoor and industrial lighting due to their high light output and efficiency.

Lighting in liaison with paint forms the architecture principal of perception.
