Lighthouse of Life

My dear tagged classmates usurped whatever possible metaphors could exist to express the pursuit of our journey of coaching as required. Today being the last day to submit mine, the trainee in me overpowered the facilitator’s soul that I have so meticulously nourished over decades. I now dreaded?having to face our guru of this chapter, dear Gaurav Arora, MCC (ICF) ..

With this thought, I got into my flight to Hyderabad today.. looking for the cryptic signal from the divine in everything, everywhere..

Nibbling at my junglee sandwich, and sippin on the cold coffee, I saw this expanse of vast space from my window (pic posted) and as always I was yet again deeply mystified.. whoever planned and created such a gigantic expanse must have indeed planned in similar meticulousness, every path of the inhabitants, thereof. What is just left, is for the soul & the intellect in the inhabitant to discover their journeys that can exhilarate their existential purpose and pursuits.?

Many of us end up spending an entire lifetime of this chapter here on earth without ever discovering that "is". Out of my window I saw this massive mountains of clouds spread across unmeasurable distances. Beneath the clouds I knew for certain that beautiful paths and destinations existed as I saw later and again posted as a pic here. But these seemingly zillions of tonnes of clouds across seemingly?thousands of kilometers did mar my vision of that what certainly is.

Is.... for us to reach.. claim.. achieve.?

Let alone the destinations and paths thereof, these clouds have a life of their own. They exist out of nothing.. suspended in the firmament between the sky and the possibilities beneath. As Richard Bach said,? "A cloud does not know why it moves in just such a direction and at such a speed. It feels an impulsion … this is the place to go now. But the sky knows the reasons and the patterns behind all clouds, and you will know, too, when you lift yourself high enough to see beyond horizons."

Beyond the bubbles of impulsions lie untapped resolves, immeasurable potential and unrealized opportunities.

Coaching I feel is like a drifting sky lighthouse… that within its vast expanse, gathers the vastness of understanding, so as to, with its brightness, illuminates the seeker's journeys… and partners in making sense of the layers and layers of clouds of the known unknowns and unknown knowns that mask the clarity of an existent path beneath it, inherent & intrinsic … awaiting to just be discovered through the awakening of senses that are triggered by keenness of intent, chain of heart to heart conversations and uninhibited introspections. ?

And most importantly for me.. is the possibility that when you light a lamp in this lighthouse, you not only brighten the path for someone else, you also brighten your own paths.
