Light, when the rain stops...
Autumnal unpredictability.
It catches you out just when you thought you knew what was coming next.
So look up and enjoy the sunlight when you can…
THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD
The light of the world?
is the smile against all odds;?
it is the tears that bring relief;?
it is the decision to go on,?
the painful right above the easy wrong,?
the wide-eyed love ?
instead of blind belief.?

5 个月Beautiful as always Sue. It reminds me of a musing I had yesterday about autumn coming, as I returned down our street after running some errands. I was enjoying how verdant everything was, and the golden hour light across the vibrant green lawns. Then I said—wait a second. It’s early September. Isn’t everything supposed to be brown?! Yup, we had so much rain this year we skipped right over the brown part and are hurling forward into glorious red orange and yellow! The smile against all odds: we had the summer of about three decades ago. Fun while it lasted. Makes me wonder what next summer will bring? God only knows.
