Light Shines Through

You know not,

That which is hidden.

Shrouded fully,

Unaware.

-

Crossing a river,

Ambitious frog,

Searching for others,

Distant opposite bank.

-

Knowing desire,

Manifesting,

Lily’s paint way,

One hop, then another.

-

Pitfalls abound,

Predators above, below,

Stream not slow,

Not for the faint.

-

So too do you,

First discover,

The other side,

Awareness begins.

-

Desire present,

And now how?

Aspiring to be,

Closer to free.

-

Multiple paths,

Ancient text do show,

Meditation, Devotion, and Selfless Service,

Combinations long ago.

-

Uncovering your shroud,

Breaking through walls,

Parting of clouds,

Must not be proud.

-

Realizing your blocks,

Aren’t actually beyond,

For inside of you,

May only they be found.

-

What wrongs were done,

Someone else’s fun,

That caused you pain,

And still remain.

-

Chasing shadows,

Turning your gaze,

Internally born,

Facing your scorn.

-

Forgiving self,

And everyone else,

Clears the way,

Hearing God say.

Love is the answer,

Internal and out,

Above and beyond,

Heart lead, fear not.

-

Consciousness rises,

Sun now seen,

Crossing the stream,

A journey for few.

Mistake not,

Asking the Divine,

For Peace & love,

Light shines through.
