Light and Folly - Part 1

Vast areas of the world are deprived of clean air. This results in the death of some 7 million people. As described by National Geographic, such particulates as PM10, PM2.5, ozone, nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide ravage the human body;

This disaster is not limited to any continent;

and as Barbara Tuchman noted, no Age and no nation has avoided the March of Folly;

or has failed to see itself in A Distant Mirror;

The March toward the Light is continuous and ubiquitous;

and as relentless;

for human freedom and dignity;

as is persistent and repetitive the march of human stupidity;
