Light Against Breast Cancer 2023

Breast cancer is a disease of immense social importance, affecting approximately 1 in 9 women during their lifetime. Shockingly, every year, around 56,000 women in Western countries receive a devastating diagnosis of breast cancer, with a quarter of them unable to overcome this formidable adversary. However, there is hope. Over the past 25 years, mortality rates have steadily decreased, and cure rates now exceed an impressive 90%, especially when the disease is detected early. At Slamp, we recognize the gravity of this global health challenge. For the third consecutive year, we are proud to stand alongside Susan G. Komen Italia in their fight against breast cancer initiatives.
