We all love looking at the display homes and being dazzled by all the shiny tiles, huge rooms with high ceilings and gorgeous outdoor BBQ areas.
But are all these inclusions and the display home plan exactly what you are going to receive when you sign on the dotted line?
More often than not No.
With some of the big building companies, their display home Inclusions do not cover basic approval requirements.
Before you sign any build contract , ask your builder if these items are included:
*BASIX
*CONTOURS
*BUSHFIRE
*SOIL TYPE
*ROCK
*EASEMENTS
*SOIL REMOVAL
*ELECTRICAL
These items might not seem very "sexy and exciting" but if not included in your build price, they can cost up to $50,000 extra…and you won't know about this until half way through your build.
So, when you're visiting the display home of your dreams and you're ready to enquire about pricing... ask if the above items are included and your house price is not just a vague assumption.
