Lift-off for Alexander Dennis! AD supplies buses and coaches for Airport service.

Did you hear? On January 17, Alexander Dennis ("AD") announced that it has supplied four new Plaxton Panther coaches to Reading Buses for a new service to London Heathrow airport. Aimed at both travelers and staff, it provides an extensive timetable with the first journey arriving at the airport before 4am and the last departure after midnight. The service is a brand-new commercial venture that has been developed with input from Heathrow Airport.

Additionally, on January 22, AD announced that it has supplied an Enviro400 double decker to Bath Bus Company, part of RATP Group. The new Enviro400 is Bath Bus Company’s first Alexander Dennis vehicle. It entered service in the autumn on the operator’s busy Air Decker route, which provides a direct connection between Bath and Bristol Airport that also serves locations along the route.

Bath Bus Company Managing Director Derek White said: “Our flagship Air Decker service continues to rebound on its tenth anniversary as people’s appetite for travel returns. The new Alexander Dennis Enviro400 makes the journey even more comfortable, whether it’s for incoming visitors keen to see Bath’s splendour or residents flying out of Bristol Airport.”
