LIFESTYLE REVOLUTION
My dear friends, Have you ever wondered why cancer and other lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, stroke and hypertension is on the rise in Nigeria?
It would appear dramas going on at the political arena might have finally caught up with our attention. It is unfortunate to know that the implication of Nigeria being an import dependent country is viewed by the majority from the economic perspective alone. Poverty and Corruption has driven some officials of our regulatory agencies to compromise on some imported foods or products that are not fit for human consumption.
The rise in obesity, diabetes two, heart disease, high blood pressure, arterial disease, cancers, autism in children, ADHD in adults and children and more, ALL seem to be directly correlated to the rise in consumption of processed foods. Infact, some consider the affordability and stocking up of this type of foods as a sign of wealth and class. I have shared it many times, on my YouTube videos that Bis phenol A is often used as a preservative of canned foods. Which may react with the acidic content when exposed to sunlight and produce cancer causing toxins. The fact is that pharmaceutical industry has blossomed as cases of heart disease, cancer and Type II Diabetes have continued to rise.
I feel it is time to join hands together and let's start a Lifestyle Revolution by following this basic rules;
1. Sign up with a Lifestyle Clinic
2. Go for annual check up
3. Cut down on processed foods
4. Say no to GMOs
5. Check out the label of products before consumption
6. Stop smoking and cut down on alcohol
7. Desire a healthy lifestyle.
