Life’s A Pitch. Are You Winning Or Losing?

In the 25+ years I’ve been coaching professionals in the art of persuasion, I return time and time again to this one crucial lesson: everything counts.?

From the moment you step into the room to the moment you say goodbye, every detail matters. Your introduction, your demeanour, even how you exit a room – they all play a role in influencing the outcome of your presentation and, by extension, your ability to win the sale.

It's a fact of human nature – we all judge to some extent. We observe, we assess, and we draw conclusions. You are constantly under scrutiny, and every action you take contributes to the image you project.

So it’s worth remembering that life is one continuous pitch, and it’s not only about the words you choose that matter; it's your actions, your choices, and your overall behaviour that truly shape people's opinions of you.?

It’s not about what you say; it's about what you do.

You can't control other people’s opinions, but you can influence them through your actions. So make sure that everything you’re doing in life is helping you to win.
