#LIFEOFISHAN: Packing & Moving to San Francisco
Woah!! the time has come. It is time for me to leave the nest and fly out into the real world. The funny part is, I was in the real world and in my nest at the same time. That's the perk of being an entrepreneur while you're still in grade school, but that time is over.
It is my final countdown (I have eight days left in Dallas) and everything seems to be in flashback mode. The fact that I have graduated high school hasn't seemed to hit me yet, as am watching all my friends move out to different places and embark on their own paths. Everything from the past is slowly moving further from me in the spectrum of time.
I have a love/hate relationship with my memories. They come out of nowhere and start tugging on my heart strings, causing that weird sinking feeling in my chest. It makes me want to hang onto whatever is going on a bit longer, just so I can stay on a short vision trip from the past. This is all normal, at least that's what my other friends have told me.
I haven't packed one bag yet but I rather type this up and use it as an excuse to push that off. The funny thing is the fact that I have to pack my entire life into a few bags and leave it in the hands of the dudes at the airport to get to me at the next stop.
Over the years, I have been able to build a very large network and work with some of the biggest names in the industry and I am about to hit the reset button. The second I step foot in San Francisco, I am in a new chapter of my life and the PAST has little to no control on what is to come.
So some of you might be wondering what this is all about, this is me attempting to document and share my experiences with the world. I will be doing this more often and hope I can pass these down to everyone else who will be in my shoes down the road. Humans are humans because we can archive and document. We are able to take past experiences and pave the future - that is a trait no other species known to man has developed. You will be seeing a lot more of these coming from me. I hope to develop as a writer and keep these as original as possible in the process. So if you can comment feedback and interact with my #LIFEOFISHAN posts, it would mean the world to me.
So sit back, grab some popcorn and join me on this ride.
Other details: I will be attending Hult International Business School starting on September 10th, 2017. Move in date September 2nd.
