Life at TIDE

At TIDE Services, we are committed to providing outstanding customer service to all of our customers. Whether a Geodesys customer has a question about a drainage and water search, or a digdat customer is having trouble logging into their account, our amazing customer service team are always on hand to help. Each team member holds immense value for us, contributing significantly to our businesses through their diverse skill sets and extensive knowledge base. They play an integral role in helping to manage our business portfolio.?

Recently, we spoke to Evie Bignell , one of our Customer Service Advisors, diving into her experiences at TIDE Services. Evie has been part of the customer service team for about a year and a half, is primarily focused on Geodesys and plays a key role in the production of the CON29DW. Her recent acknowledgement as one of our Customer Service ‘Stars of the Month’ reflects her hard work and the esteem she is held in by her colleagues. This provided us with a wonderful opportunity to explore Evie's perspective on what makes TIDE Services a standout workplace.?

What do you enjoy most about your job??

The teamwork and how willing everyone is to pull together. Even when it is a hectic day for everyone in the team, we pull together where needed!??

What does a 'normal' day look like for you??

A normal workday always starts with signing into the phones and being ready to speak to our lovely customers. Next, I check the rota to see where I am allocated for the day and get ready to start for the day. The team covers both digdat and Geodesys, with each team member handling a particular part of the production process. We move around where we are allocated week to week, which helps keep things interesting. But, depending on if anyone is off work, this can change day to day.?

What’s your favourite memory from working here??

It is so hard to pick just one, I really enjoyed being able to take part in a recent CPD event. I helped with the marketing for the event, calling out to our customers to invite them. This definitely paid off as it was lovely to meet people face to face and tell them about what we do!?

Also, the team building days are great fun and such a great way to get to know people you may otherwise not speak to on normal workdays in the office.?

How do you like spending your time outside of work??

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going to the gym or playing games with my boyfriend. Although when life feels a bit crazy, I do love a duvet day, snuggling down and watching a film or two!?

Our customer service team works on the frontline of our businesses, which can be a challenge at times.
