A life in three chapters

An early school leaver, Michael qualified as a Chef (City and Guilds 1 and 2). After various jobs in hospitality, he switched to Financial Services first as a FIMBRA member “man from the Pru” and then at Allied Dunbar (now Zurich).  

His third chapter began with a move to IT recruitment. Michael now has over 24 years’ experience delivering high quality, professional IT Managed Services. 

He is the founding Chief Executive of the Thebes Group based in the UK, India and Jamaica delivering Assured Outcome solutions to clients centered in the City of London. Thebes’ offerings cover the spectrum of client staffing requirements from algorithmic trading to Cloud transformation. Skilled expert contractors deliver services on a Time & Materials basis and as time-limited projects and long-term services such as Network Operating Centres and User Help Desks.  Outsourced service provisions are sourced from the UK and India. The Thebes Business Process Outsourcing operations in Kingston, Jamaica offer local resourcing solutions as well as research to the UK operations of the group and the newly formed Thebes India connects highly qualified technicians with UK-based customers.

Away from the office, Michael is a Freeman of the City of London and a member of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists.
