Life is as simple as we allow it to be

#newdaynewchapter is a Blog narrative started on March 1, 2021 co-founded by Kishore Shintre & Sonia Bedi, to write a new chapter everyday for making "Life" and not just making a "living"
Basically if you think deeply, simplicity arises from clarity. I think clarity would be attained from awareness, which would lead to simplicity. Also it's a frame of thinking and empathising. If you can break down a situation logically; you can perceive a very complex situation to it's fundamental components and perceive it as very simple. Or you could be a thick skinned person keeping all matters on the edge of your shoulders just brushing them off then life could be very simple for you.
Although I think everyone would agree that life is amazing in this context that as long as you are in a dynamic environment; you will collide with various other entities which increases complexity. I feel this answer would be used to answer if life is hard or easy too.It got me thinking though, about how simple life really is, and how we complicate it ourselves. Really, all we need is some good food, a warm and safe place to live and maybe a bit of rainy day money to meet those costs that we don’t anticipate.
Moreover, everything else is superfluous. We mix ourselves up with mobile phones, internet and satellite TV contracts, personal loans for things we don’t need, and then get a job and work to get enough money to pay for it. We have holidays, not because we want them but because we need them to get a breather between all the nonsense we are involved in. And then, most people need another holiday to get over the one they have just had with all the family fighting and disappointing experiences.
Before we comprehend the simplicity of life let us understand our role in it. People/humans are encryptions; they convert simple things into something horribly complex and difficult to interpret. The only reason we have something called sixth sense is to complicate things. But then think about it, without making things complicated we might feel extremely dull and demotivated, and then there is no point in whatever we do. With that note, let's get one thing straight; life is void, it has no meaning or purpose.
And you can live without making plans and without proving squat. The perfectly sane way to lead life would be to accept its simplicity and enjoy every privilege dawned upon us humans. But that makes us a bunch of monkeys jumping around and doing nothing but enjoying life. If not for complications, we wouldn't have gravity, airplanes, clothes, money, education, work, success, failure, love etc. So yes, "life" is too simple; we complicate it, and that's what makes it more beautiful and purposeful.
It everything depends on persons thinking and action and your choices define your life so make your choice be perfect. Every action there is equal and opposite Reaction, as per Newton's law. Therefore, life is simple when everything is according to your thinking. Life is not simple when you are not able to control things around you or it is not a happy hour. You can only make this phase simple by accepting what you have and how you are. The inability to accept sadness and rejection makes it complex. Be it good or bad embrace the moments the same way to make it simpler.
One of my friend gave a great list of things to avoid if you want to make life very simple. Deactivate from all social networking sites. (Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, Instagram- you name it). Uninstall Messenger because it tempts you to text people when the notification pops up. So annoying. Cut off toxic people, selfish friends and fake people. You don’t need them. They complicate your life and make you feel worse about yourself. Just chop them off your life and move on.
Meditate. 20–30 minutes per day. Kick start you day with meditation, or end it with meditation. It keeps you calm and controls anger (i.e. prevents you from killing stupid people). Go meditate. Eat plain food and veggies. I eat like south Indians- rice and vegetable curry. Sometimes chapati with dal. It helps to aid my digestion better. I feel full and healthy. I also don’t eat meat these days. Trade your smartphone for a simpler version of Nokia or Sony Ericsson phone. Go for an old version that your granny might chose to buy. Its good enough for texting and making calls. Quit branded coffee houses like Starbucks. I’ll teach you how to make homemade chai and you will forget all about overpriced coffee. You’ll love it. Try it. Try it. Alternatively if you dislike chai, make your own coffee. Cheers!
