We're four days into the YES Summer Tour, and it's already been an incredible journey filled with unexpected surprises, some pretty hilarious [and even awkward] moments, and - of course - rock 'n' roll adventures.

Monday night: we did an impromptu showcase at Eddie's Attic. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet some incredible local musicians and share the stage in such a renowned venue.

Tuesday night in Atlanta was absolutely unforgettable, however. Unbeknownst to me, the teen chapter of the Kiwanis Club had booked the Hard Rock Cafe for the evening as the launch event for their youth conference.

Um. Awesome.

So I had the distinct pleasure of performing for about 100 teens from Texas, Oklahoma, and the Rocky Mountains. They were an amazing audience, and really loved that I have a rule to perform an original song for every two covers we sing. The best part though? They really connected with my new single "Glitter" and swayed along to "Together We Rise."

Yep. They were dope.

We had a similar experience last night playing in Miami - for a bunch of teenagers from [predominantly] the Ukraine and Italy [they're in the country on a cultural language exchange], and they were a.w.e.s.o.m.e.

Which reminds me...

In case you missed it, I recently created a Spotify playlist featuring all the songs in my repertoire. This makes it easier for everyone to know what to request during my shows Last night's audience took on that role very seriously, and requested everything from Brown Eyed Girl to Linger [by The Cranberries], and The Eagles' "Hotel California".

So next time you come to see me perform, make sure to to check out the playlist.

Meet Nadia!

I have a rule when it comes to hiring people. For me; it's all about energy, so I'm thrilled with my fantastic intern, Nadia, who has already been capturing the spirit of the tour perfectly. She put together an amazing video montage of what the day looked like leading up to our show at Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta. You can watch it on Instagram to get a glimpse of the ridiculosity [that's a word] and energy of this tour.

But the show must go on...

Wednesday, after a much later night than planned, we spent the full day driving from Atlanta to Miami for our second official show happening tonight. Though it was a long drive, we made it fun with light jogs [seriously], burpees [still not joking], press up competitions [okay, I'm evil], supermarket shopping, and plenty of car sing-alongs.

We arrived in Miami late last night, and we were all rather excited [and blown away, if I'm being honest] to see that the Hard Rock Cafe here is shaped like a guitar—how rock 'n' roll is that? I'm super excited to perform tonight and share my music with this vibrant city.

And before I bounce, I just want to say "Thank You" for the "Glitter" Love

Seriously. I'm deeply grateful for the support of my newest single, "Glitter". If it weren't obvious, the song's lyrics focus on the importance of people [especially our youth] understanding and stepping into their voices, recognizing their worth, and shining bright.

Right on brand for this tour, really.

It's all about celebrating music, community, and empowerment. From the weird and wonderful hotels and motels to the long drives filled with laughter, this journey has been nothing short of amazing.

Thank you all for your continued support. If you're in Miami [or have friends here!], I hope to see you tonight at the Hard Rock Cafe. And to everyone else, stay tuned for more updates and stories from the road.

Have an amazing day on purpose.
