Life is a short and great performance. My gratitude to FZ.

Frank Vincent Zappa should be 81 years next December but he left us in December 1993. I've been listening to his recorded works for 50 years now and the task is not easy considering he left us 62 albums and after his death the Zappa Family Trust has released 57 posthumous albums, making a total of 119 albums!

But it's still a great pleasure to listen and understand the music and words of this composer and musician. In the musical environment of classical, rock and jazz musicians and composers FZ is among the greatest with Gustav Mahler, Ravel, Mussorgsky, Albinoni, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Miles Davis.

As FZ always did during his several professional phases, I got from him the inspiration to be honest and crazy smart and the results I got were always fun, because challenging and inspiring. Our performance depends on the attitude and commitment for the profit of our clientele, either internal or external.

So this weekend I will listen to 2 hours of music during the last gig of 88 in the US by FZ and The Best Band You Never Heard In Your Life ...a labour of LOVE and PERFORMANCE!
