Life, what is it all about?

Illness, sadness, heartache.

Why is it that we have to fight to be here on his earth?

The doctors search and search for a cure, but nothing takes.

Why can't things go back to what they were?

Why can't we put the clock back and then everything would be alright again.

The nightmare goes on and on - tick tock - tick tock.

I see her lying on the bed.

Tubes oxygen and drips attached to her failing body.

Her body is sick, frail and weak.

She cannot speak a word.

She doesn't now what is happening to her.

She looks at us - her big brown sad eyes tell us she's scared.

"Don't leave me", they say, "am I dying"?

Her spirit is trapped in her body - she can't get out - she cries in fear and frustration - we all cry with her.

They give her medicine to make her well again. But, will she survive through all of this - we do not know.

A long battle is ahead.

She will never forget this nightmare.

We will all never forget this nightmare which has now become ours too.
