Industry News:

?? Cigalah Healthcare Company has forged a groundbreaking agreement with Abdi Ibrahim Pharmaceuticals that will emphasize the introduction of high-quality #pharmaceutical products into the #Saudi market. Yaser Naghi, Chairman & CEO of Cigalah said: “Our strategic collaboration with Abdi Ibrahim reinforces our commitment to elevating healthcare standards across the region. By leveraging the strengths of both organizations and fostering cooperation in areas such as research and development, manufacturing, and marketing, the joint venture will facilitate market access, promote quality healthcare, stimulate economic growth, foster bilateral partnerships, and contribute to the advancement of the pharmaceutical industry in the Middle East. In the long-term, the agreement between our two organizations will also significantly boost the Kingdom’s economy by more than SAR 500 million over five years and create new employment opportunities for Saudi citizens which aligns seamlessly with the Kingdom’s 2030 Vision and its health objectives.”

?? Hologic, Inc. has signed an agreement for the acquisition of Endomagnetics (Endomag), a developer of breast cancer surgery technologies, in a deal valued at nearly $310m. “With a global footprint and a similar commitment to women’s health, we are excited about the potential of welcoming the Endomag team and our future opportunities together to increase access to these technologies and better serve patients across the breast health continuum of care.”

?? aramco has awarded $7.7 billion in contracts to expand its Fadhili gas plant's processing capacity to 4 billion standard cubic feet per day. The expansion will contribute to Aramco's strategy to boost its gas production by more than 60% from 2021 levels by 2030.

?? Oman’s Hydrom has signed agreements worth $11bn to develop two new green hydrogen production projects with the Electricité de France (EDF Group) consortium as well as Actis and Fortescue. “Oman is strategically located between two key green hydrogen demand centres in Europe and Asia. This, in addition to, our tier-1 infrastructure and logistics capabilities has enabled us to leverage our first-mover advantage in the global hydrogen industry,” said Salim Nasser Al Aufi, the Minister of Energy and Minerals and chairman of Hydrom.
