Life is a river

Life is a river: ever changing as it flows through the valleys of the unpredictable world. Flowing through the dark caves of the underworld never stops for any reason what so ever.

A day is as valuable as a night, the unstoppable darkness matters less than an existence to the flowing of the waters. The waters of the river see no reason to give up as the results of the earth’s corrupted deeds which pollutes its pureness: the waters soldiers on even if the mud of the nature and the cruelties of life’s animals has corrupted its cleanness and its transparent innocence. Like so is life, never give up, even if it was not your fault.

From the beginning the waters know their role in life and they know where they are going. It doesn’t matter where, when and why, but the river can always expand if there’s a need, it can always expand if a new opportunity presents itself. Like so is life, there are twists and turns, there ups and downs, there contractions and expansions, but that does not mean you should stop.

Rivers can make or break you; it is what you make out of it that matters the most. They contain creatures you may see as dangerous and cruel, but some of us see them as the evident of nature’s astonishing magic. Some waters look calm and cool, but if you jump in you might drown. They may also look harsh and fast, but if you jump in they may give you a push and ease your way through life’s twists and turns.

No river has the exact same qualities as the other, and so is life. No river is the same as it was yesterday, and so is life. A river can make sudden change of direction, and so is life. A river can diverge like crossroads with choices of paths, and so is life. The waters of the river come from above, and so are the sources of life. A river can be thin, shallow but have enough heart to go a long way, and so is a person in life. Rivers sketch their own routes, and so should a person in life.

The slower is the flow the waters the more will be the number of obstacles such as undergrowth and monsters growing to disrupt its way forward. Like so is life, the longer you take to do the right thing the harder it going to be. A river can seem to be as still as a frozen drop, but a river is always flowing. You may seem to be going nowhere, but how it seems doesn’t necessary mean reality.

The waters of the river can take any form, any shape and any colour. It is their flexibility that allows them to flow through and around anything. It is their flexibility that allows them to mix with anything. It is their flexibility that keeps them going until they reach the ocean. They keep going, and you too should keep going.

With a stone as an obstacle they may think they have stopped the waters of the river from flowing, but with time you will that the waters are actually going around the stone. This is because the waters know where they are going.

With a huge wall on a huge dam they may think the waters will not be able to pass through, and they may think the waters will not able to go around this huge wall and therefore think the waters have given up, but with time you will realise that the waters are actually rising up until they are taller than the wall. That is how the waters will pass OVER the wall, because the higher they build their barriers the taller you should become.

Sometimes the wall might be too wide to go around it and too tall to rise and go over it, but the waters never give up, with time the waters will sink through the soil and before you know it somewhere they will pop-up on the surface as spring water. Go down, don’t be afraid to go deeper, beyond the surface, sink in the ground, you may find a way right under your suppressors’ feet. And gauss what: like spring water when you come back from the ground to the surface you will be cleaner than were before and, you will be closer to the ocean then you were before.

The only thing that makes life more fascinating than a river is that in life you can flow even if you are going uphill.
