Did you know that almost 85% of corporate professionals find it hard to survive corporate life?
While some professionals take on the challenges that corporate life throws at them, others quit and search for the "ideal" job without realizing that no job is ideal.
From my personal experience of working in the corporate space for 18+ years and then going to work with 1000+ mid-career professionals, I have realized that applying the same principles we apply in life to corporate careers can help us climb the ladder and become successful.
Here are some life principles that I have found to be especially useful:
1. Problem-Solving: Just like how you become stronger every time you focus on solving the problems that life continuously throws at you, solving a problem for the company you are working with will give you a greater foothold in your career.
Not only does problem-solving help you identify opportunities in your life and career, but it also helps you have a certain level of control over your future.
2. Patience: It is an important life skill that helps you keep calm and think clearly and logically in times of uncertainty.

All of us know that there are certain things that don’t produce results instantly. The right way to go forward in corporate too is waiting and working consistently to reach your goals.
3. Talk To Experts: Ever since we are born, we look up to people around us and seek their help, be it our parents, teachers, or other elders in our life.
A lot of people find it embarrassing to ask for help when they start working. It’s okay if you are unable to manage things on your own.
At such a time, an expert or a mentor from your field can bring more clarity and a bigger perspective that can shorten your success curve in your career.
4. Intent: The biggest takeaway is your intent. It is not just a life principle, but a power in your life. When your intentions are in sync with the higher aspects of yourself, even the universe supports you in turning your intentions into reality.
Similarly, your intentions do more good for you than your efforts in your workplace at times. It will expose you to more opportunities for clear communication, motivation, and achieving goals.
Is there a life principle that you apply in your corporate life? Let me know in the comments section.
